Program Description T his program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. As such, PTIB did not review this program. This English as a Second Language (ESL) program is designed for students whose first language is not English with a TOEFL score below IBT61, a IELTS score below 5. or equivalents. The courses emphasize listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar and culture. Specific instructions and practices are based on the language level of individual ESL students.
