Bachelor of Science in Chemistry

About this programme

Explore the principles of chemistry and prepare for graduate studies, research, or industry careers. See which chemistry courses will be offered in Fall, Winter, and Summer semesters. Chemistry is the study of how matter changes and interacts — from tiny atoms to the materials and medicines that shape our lives. Chemists help tackle big challenges like clean energy, health care, food safety, and protecting the environment. At UFV, you’ll learn chemistry in small classes and modern labs, where hands-on experiments bring concepts to life. You’ll build strong skills in organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry, and have chances to do research with professors or connect with local industry. Our program prepares you for further studies or careers in science, technology, and health fields.
