Entry requirements

Prerequisites

Academic Requirements - Successful completion of a recognised MQF Level 4 qualification (e.g. Advanced Matriculation, MCAST Advanced Diploma, or equivalent), including science-related subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, or Health and Social Care. - Applicants who have successfully completed the Undergraduate Diploma in Nursing Studies (MQF Level 5, 60 ECTS) or equivalent may be admitted with advanced standing. Language Requirements - Proficiency in English is required, as all teaching, learning, and clinical placements are delivered in English. Applicants must provide evidence of English language ability through one of the following: (a) IELTS Academic: Minimum overall band score of 6.0 (with no component less than 5.5), OR (b) OET (Occupational English Test for Healthcare Professionals): Minimum grade C+ in Writing, Reading, and Listening, and grade B in Speaking, OR (c) Equivalent qualifications recognised by MFHEA. - Applicants whose first language is not English must provide an approved certificate of language proficiency. International Applicants Applicants holding non-Maltese qualifications must provide a MQRIC recognition statement to confirm equivalence to MQF Level 4 or Level 5 entry requirements.
