Plastic and decorative arts pedagogy Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Fine Arts CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description The mission of the Art Education degree program is to train and certify multiple specialization: education, scientific research and artistic creation, by studying the evolution and development perspectives of the complex relationship between art and education, in an interdisciplinary context, through the contribution of formative disciplines in the areas of fine and decorative arts, educational sciences, psychology, art theory, art therapy and new information technologies.The study program aims to build competences in relation to technical, practical and theoretical skills at the confluence of theory and practice of fine and decorative arts. It follows the directions and principles of art pedagogy and art therapy to respond to new demands and opportunities in the diversification of creative and educational professions in today's society.Among the professions that graduates of the study program may pursue are: teacher of visual education (secondary school); visual artist; art consultant; socio-educational animator; art therapist; occupational therapist
