Industrial Power Engineering Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) The Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering PETROŞANI Program description Within this degree are ensured knowledges in the electric domain but also in the power engeneering domain, pertain to production and distribution of electrical energy. This degree provides the theoretical and practical knowledges in the field of thermal and electrical energy production, by clasic means but also with unconventional methods. Also the aim is to gain knowledges concerning designing and exploiting the thermal and hydraulic equipments for the energy production, modern electrical actuation, power transformers, electric distribution grids, control and monitoring systems of thermic and electric energy. Also we follow the gaining of knowledges in computer science and microprocessors in general, but especially in designing and using the electromagnetic systems, designing production of electrical machines, system and robot automation, power electronics used in electroenergetic facilities, electroenergetic management. The graduate of this degree acquire the necessary education for designing and exploitation of electroenergetic, thermal, hydraulic and electromagnetic equipments in various fields in enterprises and companies, in power generation installations, distribution and consumption of thermal and electric energy.
