Textile arts - textile design Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc) Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description The Textile Arts – Textile Design Study Program has as its mission the formation of specialists in the field of the textile design in the frame of an educational climate opened towards the most actual developments in the field. The strong points of the study program are the superior artistic instruction and the diversity of the partnerships with the professional field ensuring efficiency in the students’ familiarization with the concrete issues of the field and the facilitation of the rapid insertion of the graduates’ on the labor market. Specific competencies: - the creative use of the specific technologies and techniques in the textile design - the elaboration of creative works and projects within the field based on the original assimilation of the visual arts’ practices and theories - the implementation, communication and promotion of the product / design project. Career opportunities: Product designer for fabrics / product designer for textile printing / designer specialized in interior decorations / expert designer for the style offices / decorator artist specialized in tapestry and textile printing.
