CORPORATIVE FINANCE - INSURANCE Master programme (Ma/ MSc) Faculty of Economics and Business Administration CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description The main aim of the programme is to shape specialists in the financial field and the insurance industry by also catering to the continuous training needs of professionals who are already activating in the beforementioned fields. The programme focuses on-on the one hand- the acquisition of sound knowledge related to financial planning and management in corporations and insurance companies and, on the other hand, on acquiring technical and commercial competencies in the insurance field. This aim is achieved at a methodological and pragmatic level during the internships stage. The programme has an important advantage due to its double specialization:The corporate-financial segment through such disciplines as: Financial Management, Financial Standing, Corporate Governance and Performance, Private External Financing, Empirical Finance, Financial Innovation, Strategies of Corporate Value Creation. The private segment of insurance-the most dynamic financial sector, through disciplines such as: The Insurance Economy, Insurance Accounting, Life Insurance and Pension Funds, Actuarial Statistics, Re-insurance and additional risk transfer techniques.
