Taxation Master programme (Ma/ MSc) Faculty of Economics and Business Administration CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description The Fiscal Policy Master’s programme targets university graduates who want to specialize in the taxation field or want o to pursue a career in taxation consultancy. The Master’s programme aims at training specialists through a comprehensive approach to Romanian legislation and community legislation. In today’s economic environment, the legal stipulations as well as the practical needs have highlighted the importance of the taxation consultancy activity as one essential benchmark. The programme focuses on getting acquainted with taxation related issues as a field that combines the accountancy anf financial domains. The curriculum is designed in order to understand taxation specificity from various perspectives: tax-payer-state- the European context-the national specificity, taxation-accounting-managerial, legal-economic. Through the acquired body of knowledge, one’s ability to organize good taxation management of an economic entity by effectively managing fiscal risk will emerge. The programme ensures gaining knowledge of both legislation and taxation procedures within the context of integration in the European space under the impact of competition and tax harmonization.
