About this programme
Judicial Psychology Master programme (Ma/ MSc) Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description This Master Programme was designed to study and analyze the human behaviours associated with legal processes. The complexity and diversity of the realities of the criminal context suggest the need for a multidisciplinary approach: psychological, sociological, forensic, medical-legal. The programme aims to inform students about the main characteristics and particularities of criminal behaviour by identifying and assessing the central factors and mechanisms that generate or enhance it both at a social, as well as at an individual level. The programme is an interdisciplinary one, focused on an applied dimension; the classes are held by professors from the university, and by well-known practitioners in the field, aiming to keep a close contact with the needs of forensic psychology professionals. Moreover, this programme, through the proposed curricula, expressing the "scientist-practitioner" paradigm, builds upon both research and professional practice, thus satisfying the standards of the Babes-Bolyai University as a university oriented towards advanced research as well as the standards of the Romanian College of Psychologist (CPR), the institution that establishes the professional practice in the field.
