About this programme
Society, Art, Identities in Central Europe. From Middle Ages to Modernity Master programme (Ma/ MSc) Faculty of History and Philosophy CLUJ-NAPOCA Program description The Society, Art, and Identities in Central Europe. From Middle Ages to Modernity MA programme opens its graduates at least three possibilities: historic research, teaching activity and expert-evaluation of the heritage and civic and cultural phenomena from Central Europe. The growing of historic, civic and cultural themes belonging to Central Europe’s geography offer to the Romanian society the possibility of forming specialists (experts, researchers, high school teachers) that understand, analyze and interpret the evolutions in the region, multiethnic and interconfessional relations, and the heterogenous cultural architecture developed in a space of influences and interactions. The expertise-evaluation mission of the heritage, processes and civic, cultural and artistic phenomena comprised in the MA programme through specials courses and seminars is intended to form experts with evaluation and managerial abilities of crisis-events (confessional, ethnic, national, social), to manage community projects, by finding a relevant dialogue between local/regional administration and non-governmental institutions. The graduate students are able to conceive and draft community projects, to manage allocated funds that are necessary to any civic, cultural, artistic or confessional actions.
