About this programme

We offer five specialisation courses in handstand. If this is your first time applying to the courses, we recommend that you apply to Handstand, specialisation I. For each course, there are higher demands in the respective syllabus, but you who start course 1 with a very high skill level will still need to work as hard as everyone else. Your tutoring will start from your current skill level regardless of whether you start on Course 1 or Course 5. You will not have a higher chance to be placed in a group with more advanced students if you apply for a later course. All students from all five courses will be placed in mixed groups. Group placements can be done by randomization or division by technical level demonstrated in the work samples from the selection. This depends on the available resources in the school and the technical level differences from all admitted students. During the course, you will have group classes in handstand where all students sometimes practice the same techniques, and sometimes select their own focus. In addition, you will have an individual meeting with the teacher to establish a plan of action that is particular to your own development. Apart from the teacher led classes, you are also expected to practice independently. You will have access to our space and studios for continued work in handstand on your own or together with others in the course. General entry requirement for studies in the first cycle with the exemption of Swedish 1,2,3 and English 6 Specific entry requirement:
