About this programme

The Tectonics course covers an Introduction of the overall structure of Earth, convection in the mantle, plate kinematics and then looks in some detail on divergent and convergent (subduction zone and collision belts) plate boundaries. The development of ore deposits and magmatism in these setting will also be addressed.
