About this programme

From drama and music festivals to corporate, sporting or boutique events, our Management (Live Events) BA equips you with the skills, experiences and contacts needed to thrive as an event organiser. You will begin your training by learning essential transferrable skills in business, project management and marketing, before you specialise to develop a deep insight into the contemporary events management sector. This culminates in your final year, where you will undertake a relevant placement or develop your own enterprise project that reflects your ambition and enables you to build practical experience, expertise and contacts. You will graduate as a highly-skilled creator of memorable, sustainable events, able to impress with a dynamic portfolio of creative, engaging and enterprising projects that you have managed and delivered. By studying at LIPA, you will have unique opportunities to collaborate with your fellow students to deliver impactful events. We are home to everything from intimate gig nights to two-week large-scale music festivals, and from innovative digital productions to rep seasons and musical extravaganzas. You will be able to work across a range of specialist spaces, including our 360-seat proscenium arch theatre, state-of-the-art film and TV studios, and 6 recording studios.
