About this programme

Design the places people fall in love with, taught within a Landscape Architecture department officially named one of the best in the world. The Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Greenwich won the Manuel Ribas Piera International Landscape Architecture School Prize in November 2025, recognising the exceptional quality of the teaching, students and staff you'd be joining. This Landscape Institute-accredited degree will teach you how to design the landscapes of the future and shape how people experience the world around them. You will develop the creative, technical and professional skills to design sustainable, impactful spaces, from urban parks and public plazas to regional landscapes and waterfronts. The course combines creative exploration with technical and professional skill development. It offers: You will be working in spacious, purpose-built design studios inside the Stockwell Street Building, which sits in the heart of the Greenwich UNESCO World Heritage Site. With Greenwich Park nearby for inspiration, 14 roof terraces and a striking interior living wall, sustainability is very much part of your everyday learning environment. Small class sizes mean you will get regular one-to-one tutorials and feedback from tutors informed by research and practice, with guest input from practitioners across London. Throughout the course you will have access to industry-standard tools including AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, ArcGIS and the Adobe Creative Suite. You’ll graduate with a portfolio of design projects that will help you into world-class landscap
