About this programme

The overall aim of the course is to convey knowledge about how different types of natural environments can be used in health-promoting interventions for specific user groups. Strategies for identifying, using, and developing nature-based interventions are presented. Considered is the usefulness of different types of natural environments - such as a forest, a garden or a beach – related to season and specific location. Professionals working within the field present how they use nature in their work. The course comprises lectures, seminars, project work and exercises. Written assignments, oral presentation of exercises and participation in seminars are mandatory. The course is entirely online.
