About this programme
Biology is the science of life. It helps us understand how living things work, from cells, genes, and microbes to animals, plants, ecosystems, and human health. On this course, you'll explore the diversity of life and the processes that shape it. You'll study areas such as genetics, evolution, ecology, metabolism, molecular biology, animal behaviour, disease, conservation, and global change. More importantly, you'll learn how biological knowledge is used to investigate real problems in health, the environment, agriculture, biotechnology, and conservation. At Lincoln, you'll do more than just study. You'll build practical skills through laboratory work, fieldwork, data analysis, independent research, and optional placement or overseas field experiences.
