About this programme

Sport and Exercise Therapy is the science of preventing, diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries, relating to not only sport and physical activity, but also workplace and day-to-day activities. You'll learn how to assess injuries, design treatment and management plans, and support people back to full performance, whether that's elite athletes or everyday members of the public. If you're interested in anatomy, the function of the body, how injuries happen, and how to help people recover and perform at their best, Sport and Exercise Therapy is a practical, career-focused degree that prepares you to work directly with athletes and active individuals. At Lincoln, you'll develop hands-on clinical skills, learn the theory of how and why, and build the confidence to step straight into the industry. This course is built around employability. From practical experience to industry exposure, everything is designed to help you graduate job ready. A recognised, accredited programme Accredited by The Society of Sports Therapists (The SST), this programme ensures that you’re able to safely and competently deliver the expected competencies of a graduate sports therapist. Hands-on from early on Develop real hands-on clinical skills, not just learning in lecture halls. You’ll practise assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation techniques throughout your degree. Career-focused learning Everything you study connects directly to real roles in sport therapy, rehabilitation, and healthcare.
