Burundi visa status from Bangladesh: the Suivi du visa tracker
Last checked against official sources on
On this page
Burundi's Commissariat Général des Migrations runs an online visa appointment system (Rendez-vous Visa) and a tracking page, "Suivi de votre demande de visa" 1. The online services are a visa application in three steps (online form, fee payment, certificate), application tracking, and an airport entry visa 2.
The tracker
The tracker asks for one thing: the visa tracking code from your application confirmation 1. If no application matches, the page says "Votre code … ne correspond ni à aucune demande de document de voyage ni à une demande de document de séjour". In English: your code matches neither a travel document application nor a residence document application 1.
Visa types and fees
The commissariat lists an entry visa (multiple entry, 1 to 3 months) at 90 USD per month, up to 270 USD for 3 months. It also lists a stay visa at 10 USD for 5 days, up to 210 USD for 3 months 2. The only study visas listed are for students from EAC states (free, 1 year) and from the DRC (25 USD, 1 year), so no study visa category for Bangladeshi nationals appears 2.
Contact
The office is on Avenue de l'OUA, Kigobe, Bujumbura, open Monday to Friday 7:30 to 16:30. Email contact@migration.gov.bi or call (+257) 22 45 12 78 1.
Have the tracking code from your application confirmation ready for the status check on this page.
