Ethiopia eVisa status: passport number, reference, 'not found'
Last checked against official sources on
The Ethiopian Embassy in Washington states that all foreign nationals entering Ethiopia need a visa, except airside transit at Bole without passing immigration. The visa is available through the e-visa or an Ethiopian embassy 1. The e-visa service is provided by the Ethiopian Immigration and Citizenship Service. E-visa enquiries go to +251 111 262 635 or support@evisa.gov.et 1.
Checking status
The official eVisa status page, evisa.gov.et/visa-status, asks for two things: your passport number and the application reference number, which comes from your eVisa confirmation email 2. If the page answers "Visa request is not found", no Ethiopian eVisa application matches that passport and reference pair, so check both against the confirmation email 2.
No Ethiopian mission in Bangladesh was confirmed, and the student visa category, documents and fee are not confirmed from a readable official page. Use the e-visa support contact above for study questions.
Keep your passport and the confirmation email open for the status check above.
