Kazakhstan C9 study visa from Bangladesh: invitation first
Last checked against official sources on
Kazakhstan's study visa is the C9, and it starts with an invitation: a visa support form approved by Kazakhstan's Ministry of Internal Affairs, plus an admission letter from the university 2. The e-visa also needs a valid invitation number from a Kazakh inviting party 1.
Where Bangladeshis cannot apply
The Embassy of Kazakhstan in New Delhi says "You must be a resident of India or Sri Lanka in order to apply for a visa through the Embassy of Kazakhstan" 3. A student living in Bangladesh should not plan on New Delhi. Ask your university which route it uses for the invitation.
Fees, time and documents
Two Kazakh embassies give the same C9 fees: USD 80 for a single entry of up to 90 days and USD 200 for multiple entries of up to 1 year 23. New Delhi processes a general visa in 5 working days 3. Its list adds a passport valid at least three months after the visa ends, one photo, the university letter, the approved invitation and a fee payment slip. Foreign documents must be legalised or apostilled 3. These are other missions' rules and may differ for your route.
Applications and status are handled through the Visa and Migration Portal 4. The portal pages read do not say what number it asks for or what status wording it shows.
Have the details of your portal application ready for the status check above.
