Kyrgyzstan student visa (type S) and e-visa status check

Kyrgyzstan's e-Visa portal lists a Student Visa, type "S", issued for studies and valid for up to 90 calendar days 1. The portal's "Do I need visa?" tool includes Bangladesh in its country list 1.
Applying
You need a valid passport, a digital photo and a credit or debit card 1. The passport must stay valid at least 6 months after the visa ends and have 2 free pages 1. The form is in English, but supporting documents must be in Kyrgyz or Russian, or translated 1. Review takes 5 working days, counted from when every required document is in 1. The fee depends on visa type and period and is not refunded, even if the visa is refused 1.

Checking status
The "Check status" page asks you to "insert your reference number", an 8-symbol alphanumeric code sent to you by e-mail, and then a CAPTCHA 2. The same page lets you continue an unfinished application or ask to speed up review 2. The status labels it shows are not published 2.
