Laos eVisa status enquiry: Application ID and the usual 3 working days
Last checked against official sources on
The Lao eVisa is usually issued 3 working days after the application is submitted and the visa fee is paid. It may take longer for holidays or if the criteria are not met 1. The fee is non-refundable, and the amount comes from the portal's fee calculator 1.
The portal says the eVisa is available to countries on a list, and that list could not be read on the page, so Bangladeshi eligibility is not confirmed 1. The decision rests with Lao government authorities and the Consular Department of the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs 1.
The application needs a 4x6 cm photo taken within 6 months and a photo of the full passport bio page, including the machine-readable lines at the bottom 1.
To check progress, the "Status Enquiry" page asks for the Application ID and shows the application status, though the labels are not shown on the page 2. No student visa route is published on the pages read.
Have your Application ID ready for the status check above.
