Myanmar education visa for Bangladeshis: US$50 single, US$160 multiple

The Myanmar Ministry of Foreign Affairs fee table lists two Education Visa types 1:
- Education Visa (Single): US$50, valid 90 days, with a stay extension possible under the rules 1
- Education Visa (Multiple): US$160, valid one year, multiple entry and stay, with no need to leave after 90 days 1
Where to apply
Two ways in are named: the Myanmar eVisa portal (evisa.moip.gov.mm) and the Embassy of Myanmar in Dhaka, which the ministry site lists as "ME, Dhaka" 23. The ministry's embassy list also includes a Consulate-General in Kolkata and an embassy in New Delhi, and it does not say which one handles visas for Bangladeshi residents 2. The Dhaka embassy's own website returned no content.
What is not published
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs page also has visa-free travel, on-arrival and eVisa sections 2. The Education Visa is not shown among the eVisa types on the pages that could be read, and student documents, processing time and who decides are not published there. It is also not confirmed whether Bangladeshi nationals are eligible for the eVisa.
Status check
The eVisa site has a status enquiry page 3. Its content could not be read, so the inputs and status wording are unconfirmed. Ask the Dhaka embassy before you apply, and keep the reference you receive ready for the status check on this page.
