Oman visa for Bangladeshi students: Dhaka embassy and the ROP tracker

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Dhaka is at Plot No. 1, Road No. 68 (the Foreign Ministry page spells the area "Goshen 2") 1. Contact is dhaka@fm.gov.om or +880 2 984 0398 1. The Foreign Ministry says the embassy provides consular services including "Handling visa applications of different categories" 1.
In May 2026 the ambassador in Dhaka met VFS Global at the embassy to discuss electronic attestation and how visa-exempt business and tourism applications are processed 4. The report does not mention students.
The Royal Oman Police e-visa site
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) e-visa portal offers four visa classes: Resident Sponsored, Resident Unsponsored, Visit Sponsored and Visit Unsponsored 3. Its registration form lists Bangladesh among the nationalities 3. The pages that loaded describe no student class or fee 3.
Tracking an application
The "Track Your Application" form asks for three things: the Visa Application Number, the Travel Document Number and the Document's Nationality 2. The ROP e-visa footer says: "To view your Visa Application Status, please login and proceed to the 'Find Visa Application' link" 2. The official tracker also asks for a captcha, a security image you must type 2.
What is not published
The pages read do not give a student visa route, its documents, a fee, a processing time or the status wording. The official study-visa page (studyinoman.moheri.gov.om) could not be read. Ask the Dhaka embassy which visa applies to your course before you apply.
