Seychelles Student Permit for Bangladeshis: TA, fees and tracking
Last checked against official sources on
Seychelles has no visa step for visitors. Its Ministry of Foreign Affairs says "no visa is required", but every traveller must first get a Travel Authorisation (TA) online at seychelles.govtas.com, and a visitor's permit is issued on arrival 1. The TA fee is EUR 10.90 and you can apply up to 10 days before your flight 1. The page does not name Bangladesh in its entry rules, so check that it applies to your passport 1.
Students are handled separately. Seychelles Immigration and Civil Status Services issues the Student Permit 12.
Student Permit documents and fees
The Immigration Services page lists 2:
- the completed Student Permit application form
- a passport photo and a copy of your passport
- written proof of acceptance from the school or university
- evidence of financial means
- your full birth certificate, with a translation if needed
The fees are SCR 1,000 for processing and SCR 1,500 per year for the permit 2. The page gives no processing time 2.
A Student's Permit does not allow you to work in Seychelles 4.
Checking your application
The Travel Authorisation portal has a "Check your application" page: "Check the status of your existing application." 3 The page does not show the wording of the statuses 3.
Keep the reference from your Travel Authorisation application handy for the status check above.
