Cameroon e-visa from Bangladesh: evisacam.cm, 72 hours and the fee table
Last checked against official sources on
The Cameroon Consular Services Portal at evisacam.cm needs you to sign in. It lists Visa Applications, Consular Card Applications, Laissez-passer Applications and Exit Visa Applications 1. The Ministry of External Relations (MINREX) e-visa page lists no nationality exemptions and does not mention Bangladesh 2.
The steps
- Pre-enrol online on evisacam.cm.
- Fill in the form and upload your documents.
- Pay by Visa or Mastercard.
- The competent diplomatic mission or consular post processes the application. The page does not name a post for Bangladesh 2.
If you live in the city of the post, you do biometric enrolment by appointment. If you live far from a post, you receive an online visa authorisation with a QR code, and the visa is affixed at the entry border post 2. You need a computer or smartphone, internet, a valid passport, a Visa or Mastercard card, and each supporting document scanned separately 2.
Time and fees
Processing is 72 hours after pre-enrolment (standard) or 24 hours (express) 2. The fees are:
| Visa | Fee |
|---|---|
| Short stay, ordinary (6 months) | 100 000 FCFA |
| Short stay, express | 150 000 FCFA |
| Long stay, ordinary (12 months) | 150 000 FCFA |
| Long stay, express | 200 000 FCFA |
| Transit (maximum 5 days) | free |
The entry visa is issued with multiple entries 2.
No student category
The e-visa page does not mention a student visa category 2. Ask the Cameroonian mission which category covers study.
Checking status
The portal needs a registered account 1. After you apply you get an email or SMS to book biometric enrolment, and a page called "page de gestion de vos demandes de visas" lets you download the payment proof 2. No status wording is published 2.
Have the email address you registered on evisacam.cm ready for the check above this article.
