Ghana eVisa: tiers from USD 260, no student category, tracking
Last checked against official sources on
The Ghana eVisa portal is run by the Ghana Immigration Service with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 1. The fee does not depend on nationality. There are three tiers with the same documents: Standard at USD 260, processed within 96 hours; Priority at USD 338, within 48 hours; and Express at USD 442, within 5 hours 1.
The official applicant guide lists only B1 Business and B2 Tourist visa types. No student category appears, so the study entry route is not confirmed. A passport needs 6 months of validity and 3 blank pages 2. The pages read do not show whether Bangladeshis qualify for the eVisa or whether a Ghana mission takes Bangladeshi student applications.
Checking and verifying
The Track Application page asks for the application reference number. It then sends a 6-digit verification code to the registered email address before results show 3. A separate verification tool on the portal checks an issued eVisa or ETA by its reference, which starts GH-EV- or GH-ETA-. If it answers "eVisa not found", no document with that reference exists 4.
Have your application reference number and access to the registered email inbox ready for the status check above.
