No Mali mission in Dhaka was found. Applications go online through Mali's Ministry of Foreign Affairs digital visa portal, which sends you to the embassy or consulate for your country of residence 12. The portal asks you to choose a country of residence from a list that includes Bangladesh 2. The Embassy of Mali in New Delhi (A-2/29, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi 110029) publishes the procedure, and its site header lists Bangladesh among the countries it covers 13.
The steps
The procedure, effective 11 March 2025, is 1:
- Create an account.
- Choose the visa type.
- Complete the online form.
- Upload documents as PDF or JPG.
- Schedule an appointment if required.
- Pay the fees.
- Visa issuance.
Handwritten or paper applications are not accepted unless submitted through the portal 1. The embassy site also carries an older page with demand-draft fees (business Rs. 10,600, tourism Rs. 3,600, expedited Rs. 1,000) that may predate the portal 1.
Study as a purpose
The portal's home page offers "Venir au Mali pour:" (come to Mali for) Tourisme, Visite Privée, Affaires and Etudes, so study is a listed purpose 2. The pages we read publish no student requirements, fees or processing time 12.
Documents and timing
The embassy lists documents to upload: a passport copy with at least 6 months of validity, a recent passport photo, a legalized invitation letter from Mali or a hotel reservation, a round-trip flight reservation copy, and a copy of the yellow fever vaccination card. Other documents depend on the visa type 1. The average processing time is 5 to 10 business days, excluding urgent cases, effective 11 March 2025 1.
