Sao Tome and Principe e-Visa: 7 working days and the process number
Last checked against official sources on
Sao Tome and Principe's Servico de Migracao e Fronteiras (SMF) runs an online e-Visa and replies within 7 working days 1.
You need a scanned passport valid three months beyond the permitted stay, booking data, a round-trip ticket and an accommodation contact in Sao Tome 1. Proof of means of subsistence (EUR 100 per day) is shown at the border, and payment is also made at the border 1. The page shows no student or residence visa and no list of nationalities, and it does not say which mission abroad serves Bangladesh 1.
After you submit, you get a process number 3. Keep it, because the SMF entry authorisation lookup finds the decision by that number, through the menu "autorizacao de entrada" and then "consulta de visto de entrada" 123. The official check wording "Deferido" means the authorisation is granted, and "Indeferido" means it is refused 3.
Have the process number ready for the status check above.
