Sudan's Ministry of Higher Education issued Decision No. 83 of 2026 on 3 June 2026, as quoted by the Embassy of Sudan in Washington ¹. From 1 August 2026, all government and private higher education institutions must return to their original premises and stop work at alternative centres and branches ¹. The ministry will not recognise, certify or equate qualifications that unapproved centres abroad issue after that date ¹.
