Check your Togovisa application status.

Togo takes visa applications online through the Togo Voyage e-Visa platform at voyage.gouv.tg, and the Government of Togo decides ¹³. To create an account you need a valid email address and phone number. The electronic slip with your visa references, and the visa itself, are sent to that email ¹. Payment is by Visa or Mastercard, or by mobile money (Flooz, TMoney) ¹.

Whether Bangladeshi citizens need a visa or are exempt was not confirmed. The FAQ says all foreigners need a visa unless exempt, and points to an "Assistant visa" tool ("Ai-je besoin d'un visa ?") that sits behind the portal ². No Togolese mission serving Bangladesh was found.

The study visa and residence permit

A study visa needs proof of admission to a school or university in Togo. It is followed by a temporary or ordinary student residence permit ³⁴. The documents listed by the immigration directorate (DGDN) are ³⁴:

• Proof of admission to a school or university in Togo (for the visa).
• A stamped application addressed to the Director General of DGDN.
• A certificate of non-conviction from your country of residence.
• A certificate of enrollment for the current academic year.
• Three passport photos.
• A medical certificate less than three months old, from a state doctor, showing your blood group.
• A photocopy of the first three pages of your passport (valid six months) and of the visa page.

There are two student permits. The temporary student permit lasts up to 12 months, is renewable, and costs 100,000 XOF. The ordinary student permit is generally valid for three years, is renewable until studies end, and costs 250,000 XOF ⁴. The DGDN pages give no fee or processing time for the study visa itself ³.

Timing

The portal says to submit at least 5 days before arrival, and the FAQ says to start at least 7 working days before your flight ¹². A normal visa takes at most five working days (the FAQ's French: "cinq (5) jours ouvrés, au maximum") ¹². These timings are for the general e-Visa, not specifically for study. An express arrival visa costs 100 percent more than a normal application ².

Finding your application

Log in at voyage.gouv.tg ⁵. The account dashboard has a "Voir ma demande" option that shows your application record ². Neither the FAQ nor the procedures page publishes status wording, so we cannot say what each result means ².
