Samoa Immigration lists a study permit (Study in Samoa, temporary residence) at SAT$450.00 for the main applicant and SAT$200.00 for each dependent spouse or child ¹. The processing time is 10 working days ¹.

The documents are the temporary residence form MPMC100 and a confirmation letter of enrolment from the educational institution ². Medical students need a letter from the Ministry of Health ². You also need proof of funds for the whole stay, plus a scholarship letter if you are on a scholarship, or proof of accommodation if you are a private student ².

Visitors can get a 90-day visitor permit on arrival, using the arrival card ². The fee is SAT$200.00, and the passport must be valid for six months beyond the stay ¹². The permits page does not say which nationalities need a visa beforehand, and it does not say where a student abroad submits the study permit application. Ask Samoa Immigration before travelling.
