Suriname entry rules for Bangladeshi passport holders (2023 notice)

A Suriname government notice (Bekendmaking), effective 1 May 2023, lists Bangladesh among 21 countries whose passport holders must present extra documents on entry 1. They need a letter of guarantee or invitation from a registered company or person in Suriname, and proof of a paid hotel reservation for the entire stay 1. The notice describes this for tourism or business 1. It dates from 2023, so rules may have changed 1.
The notice says entry requires "a valid visa or Entry Fee voucher for eligible countries only" 1. It does not describe a student route. Ask the Suriname authorities which visa applies to study before applying.
