Check your Georgiavisa application status.

The Embassy of Georgia in New Delhi, at 169 Jor Bagh and open 09:00 to 18:00, is the page listed for Bangladesh. It is also accredited to Thailand, Sri Lanka, Nepal and the Maldives ¹.

The study visa

Georgia's study visa is the D3, under the "Immigration, ordinary and transit visas (D category)" heading ⁴. The Georgian foreign ministry's D3 guidance says D-category applicants register at geoconsul.gov.ge/en/register/visit and upload:

• passport
• admission letter
• the Education Ministry order on acceptance
• the accreditation order
• insurance
• proof of finances
• proof of accommodation
• a photo
• the fee receipt ⁴

The only D3 document read is the version for the Georgian embassy in the UAE (a 90-day visa), so the requirements for Bangladeshis are not confirmed ⁴. The pages do not say whether Bangladeshis need a visa or which mission decides D3 applications.

Portals

The consular portal, geoconsul.gov.ge, handles e-applications, consular registration and an application registry where you can check a submitted application and its status ²⁵. The separate e-Visa portal, evisa.gov.ge, is for short-term visitors only ³. Bangladesh can be chosen as citizenship on the e-Visa form. A DuVerify step follows, with an extra fee of 15 USD per applicant, to be finished within 24 hours of the emailed link ⁷. The VFS Global tracker set up for Georgia asks for the reference number printed on your VFS receipt and your date of birth ⁶.

Have the geoconsul.gov.ge application details, or your VFS receipt, ready for the status check above.
