Kosovo's foreign ministry archive lists Bangladesh under "You need a visa to visit or transit Kosovo" ¹. The page says visas may be obtained from Kosovo's posts in Tirana (Albania) and Istanbul (Turkey) ¹. The same archive lists an Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo to Bangladesh at House CEN (D) #3, Apt A6, Road 95, Gulshan-2, Dhaka, with the email embassy.bangladesh@rks-gov.net and the phone number +88-02-8881180 ². The visa page is undated and may predate consular services in Dhaka, so confirm with the Dhaka embassy ¹.

Applying

Applications are lodged in person at the Kosovo mission, no more than three months before travel ³. The fee is 40 EUR, with exemptions for diplomatic and official passport holders, children under six, and certain students, teachers and school children. Bank details come from the mission ³. The documents listed are a signed form, an ICAO photo no older than one month, a passport valid 3 months beyond departure with 2 blank pages, the purpose of the trip, accommodation, funds and travel medical insurance. They must be translated into Albanian or Serbian, in two copies ³.

A refusal can be appealed within 8 calendar days to the mission where the application was lodged ³.

Numbers

The Kosovo consulate in Dhaka received 1,075 entry-visa applications in 2023, all nationalities. That was the most of any post, ahead of Skopje (453), Istanbul (304) and Tirana (250) ⁴.
